LETS GET PACKING
Lets be truthful and admit it ,we are all guilty of over packing , whether its a weekend away or a sun holiday for a week we have all done it at some stage. Being women its only human nature to take everything with us just in case.
I have learned that travelling lighter and that by having a packing plan you can be alot more successful.
HERE IS SOME TIPS
Plan your outfits before you even start packing.Keep your bed free so you can lay down your ensembles together
Deciding factors on what your bringing should be to do with your holiday location, weather, season etc. Consider everything you might be doing.
I always think of shoes first , have a comfy day pair that will work for casual wear and have a night time pair for dinner and more glam outfits, have a spare pair of gladiators which will take you from day into night.
Take multifunctional garments which can be dressed up or down such as maxi, mini or midi dresses and skirts. They are great for both day and night and are generally light and cool.
Colour code your outfits.Choose garments which will work with one and other. One basic cardigan should be sufficient for evenings.
Rolling your garments can create more room and also avoid creasing.
Use a see through wash bag with separate compartments , its easier to find all your toiletries and you can see what you have packed.
Skin colour seamless underwear is generally good so grab some neutral undies they will work with most outfits.
You will more than likely be wearing your swimsuit or bikini most of the time during the day so have a few bikinis to choose from.Pack a sarong as it can double it up as a scarf or shawl for the evening time.
Delegate certain items to all your travelling companions, eg hair appliances.
Accessories should be neutrals either silver or gold will work with most of your cloths.
Before zipping up give a final glance and have one last clear out of any bits you really do not need.
Take a safe secure handbag with multi pockets to keep all your personal belongings safe and easy to find.
